Borneo Produce Sdn. Bhd. (BPSB) is a wholesale distributor of high quality freshwater fish and produce from Batang Ai, Sarawak. The company was founded in 2023 with the founders combined decades of experience in aquaculture, logistics and technologies.  BPSB’s fish comes from our 6,000+ cages on the lush and magnificient 95km wide Batang Ai dam.

The company’s signature products include Red Tilapia, Sarawak Silver Patin, Black Emperor, and Empurau. Red Tilapia is a popular choice for restaurants and foodservice outlets due to its firm, succulent flesh. Sarawak Silver Patin is a sought after fish that is enjoyed by freshwater fish aficionados and culinary experts. Black Emperor is a high value fish that is prized for its rich sweet flavour. Empurau is a prized delicacy that is known for its large size and firm and fruity flesh.

Our Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) fish are shipped directly from Sarawak and stored at our cold warehouse in Klang, Selangor for easy distribution nationwide.  Borneo Produce supplies its products to restaurants, foodservice outlets, supermarkets, and retail outlets in Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries in Southeast Asia. The company is also exploring opportunities to export its products to other parts of the world.

Borneo Produce is committed to sustainable aquaculture practices. The company’s fish farms where the products are from, are certified by the Malaysian Good Aquaculture Practice (MyGAP) program and ISO 22000. MyGAP is a national program that sets standards for sustainable aquaculture practices. Its fish is also halal  certified.
